Clark County’s Office of Community and Economic Development (OCED) is now accepting funding applications for pilot workforce development programs. The initiative will support projects that provide essential training, industry-recognized credentials and supportive services to residents and businesses in Southern Nevada’s evolving economy.

“We are looking for high-impact proposals that enhance workforce readiness and expand access to high-quality training opportunities in our community,” said Shani Coleman, Clark County Director of Community and Economic Development. “This program is essential to bridge the gap between traditional education and the needs of Clark County’s ongoing economic transformation.”

Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4) or 501(c)(6) status, as well as for-profit entities partnered with an eligible nonprofit. Applicants must be in good standing with state and federal agencies and hold a valid Clark County business license. Funding requests may not exceed $1,500,000. Successful pilot programs may be considered for future funding.

Applications are due June 19, 2026, and must be submitted online through ZoomGrants. Applicants are encouraged to submit written questions to ccecondev@clarkcountynv.gov by April 22 and participate in the Pre-Submittal Conference on May 20, 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
