Clark County Parks and Recreation is inviting residents and tourists to celebrate America’s freedom with a free swim on Independence Day. Paradise Water Park, at 4775 McLeod Dr., will be granting free admission to visitors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Fourth of July. Hollywood Water Park, at 1550 S. Hollywood Blvd., will allow free swimming from noon to 4 p.m. The indoor pool at Hollywood Water Park will be closed, however.

Silver Mesa Pool in North Las Vegas is also offering free admission for their “Sparkler Splash” event from noon to 3 p.m. on July 4. There will be music and contests celebrating the nation’s 250th birthday.
With high temperatures expected to reach 105° in North Las Vegas on the Fourth of July, a free day of swimming will provide much-needed relief to residents and tourists alike. Don’t just consider swimming on Independence Day, though. It’s just $3 for adults and $2 for children and seniors to swim at the following North Las Vegas municipal pools: Petitti Park Pool, at 2505 N. Bruce St., Prentiss Walker Pool, at 1509 June Ave., and Silver Mesa, at 4025 Allen Ln.
