Due to extreme heat risks, daytime cooling stations are opening across the valley to offer a safe respite from the sun to those in need. The stations will remain active from July 9 to July 12.
Clark County and the Help Hope Home initiative have designated several public facilities in North Las Vegas to serve as cooling centers during the hottest parts of the day. Residents seeking additional relief, such as public pools or splash pads, can consult the Southern Nevada Heat Resource Map at StayCoolClarkCounty.com.
