Detectives with the North Las Vegas Police Department are investigating a Saturday afternoon shooting that left two people dead in the 3500 block of Nestled Oak Avenue.
Officers responded to the neighborhood at approximately 4:29 p.m. on Sept. 26 following reports of two individuals suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Upon arrival, responding officers located two victims who were beyond life-saving measures and pronounced them deceased at the scene.
Based on a preliminary investigation, detectives believe the shooting was an isolated incident involving only the two deceased individuals. Authorities confirmed that there are no outstanding suspects and no known threat to the general public.
The official cause and manner of death, as well as the identities of the deceased, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office following the notification of next of kin.
